Collection of Standard Internet Information

The company automatically collects and stores information about visitors when they visit our web sites.  This information is standard with most websites and is contained within the server log files and reported to AHAA employees through various methods.  The information collected is as follows:

Collection of Personal Information

The information determined to be “personal information”, information that can identify you as a unique person such as your name, street address, credit information, health conditions, etc. will be maintained for the purpose of our records.

The information you supply to American Hearing Aid Associates or it’s affiliates, through a secure web form, standard form, or mail message, is maintained by the company for the purpose of processing your request. 

These sites may also collect information from you about third parties (refer a friend program).  This information is stored only for the purpose of fulfilling that request and will not be used other than for that purpose unless permission is granted from the third party.

How we use the information

The personal information supplied to us will be used primarily to support your request, if your are requesting to meet with an audiologist, your name and contact information will be forwarded to an audiologist or ENT practitioner in your area.

If you join to receive email newsletters, you may opt out of receiving those newsletters at any time.

At times we may have third parties analyze our data to provide statistical and benchmarking analysis on the information.  This information is used to improve our services and help us better support the customer.

The site measurement statistics may be used to personalize your web site experience, as well as to evaluate and aggregate the statistics about the usage of our web site.  This information however, is down anonymously without linkage to the visitor.

Other Information we may collect

With respect to cookies, we will store information regarding your visit in cookies that exists on your machine.  The cookies themselves will assist us in your purchasing process and help us create a personalized experience for you.
